A couple weeks ago, I went to P.F. Changs for lunch with my coworkers. When we got our fortune cookies, mine didn’t have a fortune in it. Hey, these things happen. I asked for another one. The new one didn’t have a fortune in it either. At this point, I started getting worried. Does not having a fortune mean I was going to die soon? My coworkers thought so, and thought it was very funny. The waiter was as shocked as I was, and said it had never happened before. He was sensitive to my situation, so he brought me another one. The third one had a fortune in it, and I kept it because damn it, I earned that fortune.

The other day I was eating Chinese food at a different place. I got a fortune cookie at the end. It had 3 fortunes in it.
