Death Star Face

Red-eye tools in general suck. The one in iPhoto does it’s job well enough, but there are often times when I have to take the image into The Gimp to correct red-eyeness. The error below was my mistake, though: I accidentally clicked the red-eye tool on my cheek. Look how cool it turned out! It’s the Death Star on my face!

Tetris DS

I fancied myself a pretty good Tetris player. I cut my chops on the OG Nintendo version, even getting 200+ lines starting from level 19, and I was not too shabby against friends throughout the years in multi-player matchups on the SNES and the N64.

After playing online via the Nintendo DS + Tetris DS, I will never again call myself a good Tetris player.

Wow. Here’s some advice for you if you are thinking about playing this: never play against someone with Chinese or Japanese characters in their name. WOW. I just got my ass handed to me, 2 wins with around 30 losses, in 30 minutes. These guys are good. And I’m pretty sure I have not even seen the best players play. After one match, I looked up at the opposing players screen, and he had four blocks in his screen. It was completely clear.

Kind of sucks, because my Tetris confidence, built over the years, has been completely shattered. I’d love to see a Tetris world championship, if it exists.

DS Lite Time

I had to do it. It makes no sense, and I’ll have no time to even use it, but I had to do it. Look how shiny it is!

I got New Mario Bros. and Tetris, I took it old school a little bit. I have no choice but to find Advance Wars 2, WarioWare, and all the other great titles. May the Lord have mercy on my free time.

Transformers

I was not aware of this when I watched the show as a kid, but apparently, the Transformers were able to scale themselves to whatever size they wanted. That, and their actual transforming mechanism is pretty nebulous; it seems that as long as the transforming sound was audible, the animation could be mostly ignored.

Doomsday

Yesterday I saw not one, not two, but three dead birds! If these are the endtimes, I just wanted to get one last blog post in…. Now I’m kind of sorry that my last blog post before I succumb is so short.
